Transportation...The Third Step

Welcome to Transportation...number three in the series

Our transportation infrastructure in North America is aging to the point of collapse and governments are seeing the need to address upgrading and replacement over the next few years. The opportunities then are to consider how technology can make our transportation systems better.

As one such example of forward thinking, here is a presentation of a podcar and beamway configuration being pitched to Google.

Another very viable option that is being considered is "high speed rail" inter city transport.

It would appear that there is a need to support an updated vision of transportation in the 21st century.

Thank you for taking the time to read and view the videos in these three posts that will prove to be key in the building of North America into the 21st century and our new millennium.

Of course other areas that will also play a part will be our banking, finance and commerce system as well as housing and food/water production and distribution. (more on these in future posts)

If you thought that the 21st century was going to be a free ride, think again!

When you live in a house and you don't take good care of it before long it becomes unkept and begins to break down. The roof begins to leak, hvac, plumbing and electrical systems become outdated. Windows, doors, floors, ceilings and walls all require regular maintenance.

If we spend all of our time and money on security systems, building fences and finding better ways to fight with our neighbour then sooner or later we will have no house to defend let alone live in.

So think about how we can all lend a hand to maintain the good things that we have gotten and benefited from in the past and how we can help plan and build for a brighter future.

Remember when we change our attitude, we change everything!

Till next post,

Smiles :o)
